Gene Beliveau started Plymouth County Paving in 1976, in Plympton, Mass.

Gene decided to become the best full-service asphalt contractor in Eastern Massachusetts.

So he figured that if you have happy customers, then you have more customers.

His core business belief developed into: I know the customer will be happy, because the job’s not done, until I’m happy. I pave every driveway as though it is my own.

From this reasoning Gene developed a simple Four-Part Code that worked in the beginning and works now:

Gene's son, Gene Jr, worked with his dad all through high school, but as soon as he graduated from Silver Lake, in Kingston, he joined Plymouth County Paving becoming a full partner, in 1996.

Junior grew up absorbing his father's strict work ethic.

Gene Junior while embracing his father's values is constantly seeking newer environmentally sound paving alternatives, including extensive developemnt with pearmeable paving products and methods.

Gene Jr. says, "My Dad pioneered porous asphalt paving with geotextile underlayments in southeastern Massachusetts, and now we are finding other fabrics, improved permeable paving blocks, and recyclable asphalt products."
